Who makes the best winter tires for ponys?

Im going to put winter tires on this fall and would like to know opinions of what brands folks have had decent luck with in the winter.

January 13, 2012: Purchased 4 Toyo GSi5 tires today and drove in a typical snow storm in Ottawa Canada ( freezing rain in a.m.). Very impressed with traction and no issues with drive. No fish tailing and built confidence driving in these conditions. No extra weight added to trunk either. I was comparing the Yokohama iG20s and the Blizak ws 70s both of which are also highly rated. A few local Ford Dealers and a few tire stores recommended the Toyo tires and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
