I just would like to know lol I have never been so frustrated wiring up a friggen thing in my life - there like no room to work and the stupid pins break soo friggen easy n they only give u like 2 spares - yea, i'm still tryna get it to work - i got it wired, but it was like a month ago that i took it apart - so i don't remember where everything goes back like the little box and the ground wire n all - lol i hate wires -

QUESTION!!!!!!!!! I think I got it - anyway - the engine is totally not hooked up or anything, but i got the computer hooked up, (didn't tuck it in yet but) hooked up to where i think it is right - here is my question, IFFFFFF I didn't hook it up right, would my interior still work? like all my lights, CD player and what not? Because they all work - but i figured i still did it wrong, and the interior works becasue it's wired to something else - all i did was hooke the battery up to the red and black cables under the hood, and everything worked - would it still work if i had hooked upt he COMP wrong??

yea i'm more of an idiot - but doing it my way saved me money cuz i wasn't gonna use their stock meter - the kit was over 400 bucks - i spent 100 on comp, 80 on harness conversion, and 200 on the meter, so i spent 380 total, and if i woulda spent 400 on the kit, i'da still needed 200more for the new C%L meter -

Good Idea !

Yes, Good point you got there. Save money where you can. At least, you learn a lot of doing it the "Brave Way". Let us know if its work.
Ps, Do you got a fuel press. meter?

The radio and interior lights will work without the computer wiring being hooked up. They draw power from the fuse panel. The computer draws power from the blue fuse link hidden it the wiring harness near the starter solenoid.

The coolant temp gauge and oil pressure gauge wiring are in the engine harness, so they won't work without all the computer wiring in place and connected to the dash harness pigtail.

I did some research on mine and bought the 89 EEC and factory harness. The swap was easy but didn't fix all my problems so it looks like I need to burn a chip regaurdless. The pin swapping crap left me to spend a little more (about $350 for EEC, harness, and 75mm Pro-M all used but good condition) but I think it was worth it.
