who traps 104+ with BASIC bolt ons?

anyone trap 104 with everything bolt ons excluding heads, cam, nitrous, supercharger, and turbos everything else is ok. rockers and up basically.

I'm not a big drag racer anymore, but that's weird that you run almost a 13 at 110 mph.. on my crotch rocket I used to run 12 flat at 110 mph.

traction. on a crotch rocket your 60ft time was probably around a 1.6. mine is a 2.0.

and yes i trap about 102 without spray. with spray i trapped as much as a 112

ok how bout this i trap 102 tight now. you think with a cobra manifold, 1.7 rockers i can trap 104?

in ur sig it says you already have that... I'm confused w/ this thread - write down all your mods that you ran a 102 trap speed with, w/o spray if i'm correct, than ask your question lol !!

105 on a hot and humid night at a poor track. Could have gone up to 2 MPH faster with better conditions and icing the intake down.

I trap 102 without nitrous

I want to trap 104. is this possible with a cobra intake and 1.7 rockers in addition to my current mods without NITROUS?

I use to trap 99 with just a Mass air meter, underdrives, rockers, cai, and full exhaust. Stock gears and bald street tires

a few years ago my hatchback went 13.2 at 104.2 consistantly with the following...

Cobra intake
65mm throttle body
73mm maf
mac cold air kit
underdrive pullies
MSD 6a
aluminum driveshaft
1 5/8in shorty headers
2 1/2in off road h-pipe
2 1/2in mac cat back
2800rpm lockup stall converter
3.73s
timing at 14 degrees
3260 lb race weight

Yea im wondering the same thing. My car Runs Constint 14.6's at a near 97 MPH,

I have A BBK CAI, BBK ud pullies, Flowmaster catback, Aluminum DS, Pro 5 shifter, and a rear seat Delete......Id like to be high 13's at over 100

So basically 104+ with the stock untouched longblock? Trap speeds take horsepower and it's hard to get good horsepower throught though those stock heads and a small stock cam. I bet the best way would be to concentrate on weight reduction to increase the power to weight ratio.

104.0mph with stock long block, stock TB, stock waterpump... car has no weight reduction, mph was run in 2600' d/a. ... which is about 109mph at sea level.
valve covers were never off.
