Who's got 18's on a Foxbody?????

Here are 18's on a Fox, just the right size IMO. They are the OE Cobra R Y2K's with 255/35's all the way around. The back has no clearance problems (I don't have quad shocks though), the front will rub the inner fender wall only if I turn lock to lock, but only slightly, so not a problem for me. The car is a 92 which I think has larger wheel wells than the pre 91 fox's (not sure on this one though).

Fenders did not change from 87-93. In fact, I think even the early 80s fenders are the same size, not sure though.

Year by year info. For 1991:

"To complement the new 16 inch wheel, P225/55ZR Goodyear uni-directional Gatorbacks were standard with P225/55ZR16 all-season performance tires becoming an option. In addition, different front fenders were installed to accomodate the bigger wheel/tire combo."

91-93 GTs and LX 5.0s had larger fender wells.

maybe not the general shape but size did change. do a search and you will find a lot of info on this

Thanks for the replies. I just ordered some 18" Bullitts for my car. 18x9 in front and 18x10 for the rears. I think they will fill the wheel wells pretty good. Now I have to decide which tires I'm going to run...
