Your pipe looks great, D.

I'm in the midst of repolishing my repolished Typhoon intake. It looks to have a bit of a haze to it. I think it may be a bit of contan=mination with the buff that I may have used. Just gonna give it a quick sand with some 400 and rebuff. Pics and my own thread to follow.
Engine looks great though, Derek!!
And Dave....Your car is terrible!

LOL, I am probably adding more 'bling' to my car this year, than I ever have. LOL. The STB is off for good.

NEW Polished Items:
Typhoon intake (upper and lower)
Accufab TB and Spacer
water/coolant neck
AFM Power Pipe (although probably painting to match the car...Haven't decided)

Dman, looks badass along with almoststock, stang22. and mansonozz, you guys rock. I have a quick Q, I wanted to polish my stock intake plaque, so I went at it with 150 grit first, to get into it and get rid of the lateral dashes in it, if yall know what I am talking about, then 220 then some 400. I tried to polish it up with my ventilated disc thing along with some alluminum polish and all I can get out of it is a bright, but still dullish silver. What am I doing wrong?

Mothers aluminum polish will leave that finish your talking about. you have snaded it done properly, But you need the luster that only WHITE ROUGE brings. Once ya hit it up with W/R-bammmmmmmmmmmm-like a mirror finish.

Good luck-Ant

Look at the nice shiny headers I posted a pic of on the other page. That's good inspiration to put them on!

So far I have a box of whoosh in the garage, but it's not shiny enough yet. I have some custom leather for the interior, and am just waiting (for no reason other than saying byebye to my money) to order something my custom click-click.

Headers are in...just no gaskets to finish the job...I'm pretty much done for the yr, just considering selling my newly upolstered seats for a set that makes a little more of a statement...hope to have her buttoned up and done by the weekend.

Well the hard part is done then, except the locking header bolts if you are going with them. Ports 4 and 8 were a pain in the ass, I kept dropping the lock

Any idea on the seats? Gonna look nice I bet. I think we've been a bad influence on you

.I like the summit seats in gray...I like the corbeau seats the TRS I think they are. More I like the look of the racing style more than the stockers to help in freshening up the interior. Not being an everyday driver I can sacrafice a little comfort for style here.

My sporty seats are comfy as hell. I'm sure there are comfier seats out there but these replaced the stockers - and are uncomparably better!
