Just wondering who's using any of these shortblocks? Hows it working out for you? How many miles? I want to get a 347 shortblock with a cast crank. I dont need a forged crank, thats overkill and adds to cost. I need a good reliable shortblock that has NO issues and doesn't use any oil and has good internals. CHP uses RPM stuff and HPE uses eagle from what I read on they're site. Are these brands made in america? I want to stay away from over sea's stuff in my motor. My hp goals are about 400rwhp and shift points no higher than 6200 rpm. I emailed both places.

No, I don't want that emissions 347, I think thats more for cali cars where its more strict for emissions. I dont think its anything really different for performance.
, and a dual plane intake. Motor made 440fwhp, not bad for a mild setup. FWIW, the heads flowed close to 300cfm.
Shifts will be no more than 6200rpm.
