Why do AfterM Saleen bumpers say lx only?

I found this wierd being that other than brackets its the same car..does it mount to the lx front bumper under the trim or somthing?

Well, saleen kits are made to bolt up to LX mustangs. You can put them on a GT, but it's a bit more work and modification, plus the door moldings are different.

If you know about the extra steps, than it's no problem to put on a gt.

You just answered your own question. The Saleen pieces are add-ons that attach to the existing LX bumpers.

They are add ons, sp yoid have to swap a GT to an Lx first, then install

would either of you happen to have any pics of stock lx's with just a saleen front attachment? other than 25thmustang's car? thats what got me looking in the first place.
