I drove my friends 96GT and my own and his car feels way more responsive. In my when u hit the gas it has a slight delay before u feel it go while in his you lightly touch the gas and the car goes..He has mac intake, steeda T/A and the pi head swap in his car, but I dont think that would make that much of a difference...could it be that for the later years the program is a little rich? or do i not know what im talkin about

well with the headswap his car probably has more hp than a stock 99+GT. the NPI motors with a PI headswap have a higher compression ratio ~10.65:1 i believe. the steeda t/a is good for about 10hp i think, and the mac cold air is worth +-5hp

What throttle body does he have. When I installed my 75mm bbk throttle body, there was a very noticeable improvement on response of the motor. His intake might also be the cause of the increase response.

What exhaust system does he have?

yea I think it it might be faster I was jsut wondering about the throttle response...by comparison it felt like the diff between my 4 banger before and after a chip that advance fuel timing

oh he has stock tb and flowmaster 40 series exhaust it think
im all stock

yea i know its faster..i just wasnt sure if that diff would be that prevalent when u touch the gas pedal in first gear

I don't get why you asked the question because you drove both cars and you know it is that prevalent.. hehe, Oh well it would take much to keep up with him.. :D

I disagree. John Madden on football, "if we knew who would win, there'd be no reason to play the games." Now get out there and race your buddy and report back to the board on who came in second . . .

i agree, but were not talking about a race were talking about who has more responsive power.
