As stated before the NPI 96-98 cars that have the PI mods are putting out more hp then the PI 99-present cars because they have slighty higher compression. Also the TA does make the car more responsive throughout the entire rpm range period, plus youre stock. Stop with the pretty boy modding and spend some money on things that makes your car faster.

well with the headswap alone he is just as quick if not quicker. but the response you're feeling is the timing adjuster, that thing makes the car jump, which is added lower torque.

If you're looking to get around the same level as him powerwise, I'm sure people here could provide a list of bolt-ons and other things to do. What type of transmission do you have? I'd recommend some of the following:

CAI or Densecharger
U/D Pullies
3.73 or 4.10 Gears

I'm not really sure about the other stuff, I don't know a whole lot myself. I've heard good things about the Steeda timing adjuster, even if I don't know about how much it adds or what all it does. Perhaps some exhaust, too, for better sound and a few extra ponies?

I hope that helps some!

What the hell? A Steeda T/A is a timing adjuster? All this time I was thinking yall were talking about a Tri-ax. I was like, "a shifter is not gonna add any horsepower! yall are smoking crack!" Shoot, now I have to change my signature!
