Why is one heater core $149 ("oem") and the other $49? (they look the same)

Hmm..I thought it was CJpony.. But maybe it was another site..I will check. Aluminum would seem better .. then you never have to replace it. ADAM where are you dude?

OEM seems the way to go from what I hear. Need to find one myself if anyone knows a good deal on one that doesn't suck lemme know!

Give these guys a call, they are a local supplier here, they use to be a mom-n-pop shop till carquest franchised it, but it's all the same except the name. They can find you any part you need and point you in the right direction.

IIRC ... heater cores are kinda like through out berings

Ya wanna go with the Blue Oval ... genuine part

A search will confirm my gut feelings but I'm pretty sure
I've seen several say they had issues with non OEM hc's
and after multiple installs they sprung for the more costly
OEM part and no more worries

That is a lot of work
