Why Should I Lower My Car - Performance Pack

Okay, so for two months I have been dreaming of lowering the car with a performance pack. Eibach or Ford racing...something. I have researched, watched installs.

I even have a list - Do the front lower control arms with GT500, do the Ford racing handling pack, get the bump steer tie rod ends from Kenny Brown. Yup ...all worked out. Then I hit a thought today...why ?

Do I need to lower my Mustang like so many do? What "handling" am I looking to gain? I don't do rally racing, I have a convertible GT California Special in pristine condition so she stands out by herself. What would I gain (for a bit over 2 grand)?

I don't know ...talk me out of talking myself out of it guys...LOL

It's more of a look. I have the original FR3 handling pack with the 1.5" drop and the car looks great be-it not the greatest over bumps (ouch) the reason I got it is because over 100mph the nose of the car lifts and stability is strictly stupid. You have to make final decision.

Okay that makes sense...I rarely get her up there (though I like to...lol)...if I do have aggressive speed it is more in the straight line 0-80...like getting onto a freeway (like coming out of the pits before the pace car gets there --smirk)

Like I said, I drooled over this and also since its a convertible, supposedly the FR3 is not for my car...supposedly but because I was told by LMR it WILL fit just fine...but with the convertible approx. 150 lbs heavier, I would get more drop...so I would go P spring (standard 1" drop) so at the worst she drops 1.25 to 1.50?

I see you are site sponsor so headed to your site now....thanks for the reply
