I dont think the 4.10s are really helpin ya out with the c4, what are you shifting at and do you still have the stock limiter?

Only way I could see you hitting the rev limiterin that situation is if you're spinning your tires or you're not really in third.

I am shifting at 6250 thats the stock limiter, the only other reason i think it is happening is that my converter is a little to loose

Thats a pretty good time for the eigth mile. I'd be happy with it....

I have a C4, with 4.10's that runs 8.2@80 or so in the eigth on the motor, and 7.80@90 even on spray.

I ran some numbers and figured that I could use 4.56 gears in the 1/8th, and trap a max of 100, so I have room left to improve.

If it is really hitting the limiter, the converter may be too loose, or the trans is slipping in high, or you have tire spin. The converter is the most likely item. It seems to be working well in first and second thought.

I did some quick calculations myself...

Based on running a C4/26" tire/4.10's/4% converter slip (?)

3rd Gear at 6250RPM would be about 110MPH.

A little creative math tells me that your converter would have tobe slipping about 20% in order to hit the rev limiter at about 95MPH in 3rd gear.

...just a little more info to consider.

Like 89 said gearing/rpm tire size & speed of the car does 6250 equal... unless you are loosing alot of RPM somewhere. Plus your running a 2 inch taller tire than he to into acct for.

Something seems wrong to me.

FWIW
4.10's + 28" tire+ 1.00 ratio third gear + 6250 RPM = 128mph (assuming 100% lock & no slip)

Where ever your slipping here it at about a 33-34% rate.
