I have 15x9 with 235/60/15s Weld draglites on the the back and I'm gonna get some front rims now. What is the widest rim and tire that I can put on the front without it rubbing? 15x8 w/ 235/60/15s? Will that work? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Glad to be a part of the community!

I don't think the previous poster actually helped. Use the search button and you will find all that you need.

There are a ton of threads on this topic, and a lot of people won't even look if they see a topic repeatedly asked over and over.

I don't know about 85's, but I believe 245's rub at full lock on the 87-93's. I remember one guy (I think Jerry Beach) saying that he put 225's all around and likes them much better than the 245's he had before.

I did a few searches, but I couldn't find where someone told exactly what would fit. Does anyone know off hand if 235/60/15s will fit on the front of my 85 GT?

They should fit. I have 235-45-17's on my 86 no problems at all.

No. A 235/60/15 will rub on the front.
