Will 03/04 Cobra Bilstein/Cobra shocks/struts fit a GT?

Will they? is there a difference in design because of the IRS, or can they be used on GT's 99-04?

The struts will work fine, as they are the same as Bilstein hd's, but the shocks are valved for IRS only....

so just to clarify, cobras come with bilsteins?? i didnt know that lol

now when you say "valved for irs" what do you mean?

I think they are stiffer than standard solid axle HD's to compensate for the totally different rear suspension setup, & to match 03/04 Cobra rear spring rates? For example, 03/04 Cobra stock rear springs are 600lb/inch spring rate, as opposed to stock gt rear springs which have a rate of 200 lb/inch. The 03/04 Cobra bilsteins are valved differently, or essentially stiffer to match up with that spring rate...

They will physically bolt in to your car, but will be VERY, VERY stiff to the point to where it will be unbearable.

oooo ok thanks man i get it now

so i think if i can ninja some cobra bilsteins for the dront, and find something for the rear ill be better off than i am now.....i certainly cant afford buying a set new lol
