will 36lb injectors from a GTP work on a Stang

I've heard of some mustang guys using the injectors out of an LS1 for 24lb injectors i think their flow rate is 26lb not sure exactly but it's measured alittle different so it's actually around 21 or 24lb on a ford, Something along those lines.

Got to thinking if someone wanted some cheap 36lb injectors for a boosted motor couldn't you use some 36lb injectors from a GTP? They are the same impedance an the connector's look the same. Maybe i'm wrong though just an idea since you can get them pretty cheap from grand prix forums.

Most connectors are the same. Most use the standard Bosch plug like our mustangs.

I had LT1 Injectors on my car before (supposed to be 24#'s). Did it run, sure did. Did it run properly? nope. I had a Pro-M 24# meter for my car as well, but somehow the injectors were just not working. They would be fine for the most part, but while just cruising the car would sorta drop power intermitently....Buy used injectos if your concerned about price. Thats what I did.

I'm not saying i'm going to buy them an use them i'm saying it might be worth someone checking them out to see if they work. Just an idea for someone cause you can get a set of used ones for like 50 bucks might be worth someone trying them out.

But never heard of anyone using LT1 injectors just LS1.
