Will a 94-98 Borla SVO side exhaust setup work on an 04?

Hey guys. A stangnet member near me has a Borla/SVO side exit catback for sale for a good price. Other than having to get a set of hangers for the chassis, these should bolt right up and look like they do on the Cobra R, correct? I can't really see any reason why they wouldn't work. I'm not using the side skirts that the 94-98 guys use, down the line I'll probably get Razzi side skirts, they blend these pipes nicely. Anyway, can it be made to work?

Not sure about the 96-98 style, but Steeda has the 99-04 on sale for $500 I believe. It's the side pipes with two tips on each side (Cobra R style). Also, unlike most side exhausts, these are shown to increase RWHP by 3 over stock. Most side pipes are notorious for actually causing power loss.

This is more or less the same kit, Steeda re-branded Borla's kit. Plus, I'm looking at getting it for $200
