Will a fox body rear fit a 95

Might be getting a fox body rear end and wondering whats all involved in swapping it in my 95.

IIRC, the fox rear ends are also a bit narrower in width. Like 1 1/2"???? Can anyone confirm?

a couple people consider a Fox rear swap a downgrade. they say they are narrower and a bit weaker. Our 8.8s are some strong SOBs.

They are actually 3/4" shorter on each side.

Exactly what I meant, making the rear end a total of 1 1/2" narrower. Thanks for clairifying.

Stick with the 95 rear. The foxbodys are shorter. They are weaker and drum brakes suck ass. Not too mention there 4 lug!

i cant recall for sure, but i think the late 80's turbo coupe T-birds have a slightly wider rear end (and with discs). i know the TC bird is a little wider or narrower than the fox 8.8, but am not sure (i think it is wider). just an idea to check out if all else fails. good luck.

Fox Rear ends are the same as 94-98 rear ends... When I say that I mean the housing and the internals... Now you need 94-98 Axles and brakes for it to work but thats it... The difference in length is in the axle not the housing.. I have one under my car right now and have a spare one in the garage...
