Will a Pro 5.0 for a GT work on the Mach 1?

My friend was telling me it would because it was the same tranny he thought. Can it be used? I recently purchased the Pro 5.0 thinking i was getting a GT but came across a GOOD DEAL and got a Mach 1, can it still be used just the same?

Yes you can use it as long as the gt you bought it for was a 2001 1/2 or up. It is the same tranny.
