I will be having my H/C/I done by the end of next week. I can't wait!
I was talking to the mechanic at the performance shop about my nitrous.
He told me the only thing I need to worry about is my tranny AODE.He said with the trickflow H/C/I and a 100 wet shot that my tranny won't be able to handle the power. I had my tranny rebuilt last year and it has a shift kit,some good bands and a 2000-2200 stall converter.I'm estimating around 380rwhp and over 400ft lb of tq to the wheels with a 100 shot. I don't use the nitrous too often. Maybe a bottle every 2 months if that.I would run a 150 shot but that might be overkill on my AODE so I'm sticking with a 100.
What do you think? Will my AODE be able to handle those kind of numbers if it is not used too often?
