Will my block crack?

I have heard that 84 blocks crack. Now I'm all paranoid and I'm wondering if I should go through with my heads and cam swap (Thumpers and XE262H). I really don't have the bones to throw down on an FMS shortblock and E-cam, then have some dude pull and swap everything. That will be crazy expensive. Should I just cross my fingers and do my heads and cam swap? What should I do?

it's typical for production 5.0 engine blocks to crack around the 500hp mark but you won't even be close I wouldn't even give it a second thought

you seem a little too optimistic for your combo. Theres really no need to worry, unless your not tellin us about the 200 shot that you also have planned
