will my computer work with my new engine??

Im getting my new engine this weekend and I want to make sure the computer will work with it. The previous owner who installed teh computer had a crane cam in it and had converted it to mass air. Now my new engine will have the mass air but not the cam. Will it still work?

yup. mass air is what makes the computer work with different cams, heads, and so on.

Out of curiosity what kind of motor are we talking about. Stock 302 bottom end? 347 stroker? ???
