will my stock '00 GT rims fit on a '68?

this guy is interested in my chrome bullits.....same size as my stock rims (17x8) and he wants to know if it will fit....will it

with about a 1 inch adaptor.....it should. The bolt pattern is correct but the backspacing is wrong.
