Will the 00-03 GT fender emblems fit the guide holes on a 98 fender?

I havent removed the original fender emblems to see if they have 1 pin, or 2 pins holding them on, guys on SN95forums say they have two, and one needs to be cut off, but didnt say if it would fit the fender.

If the 00-03 GT fender emblem has the right pin, I can just stick them in without having to measure or line anything up, like if I just bought the trunk emblems without pins. We did this years ago on a friend's car, but I cant remember what we did, it's been years.

The badge on a 98 is totally different so I would dought they would line up.

Mabey a stick on trunk badge would cover the holes, who knows.

It WILL, thats not the question. I dont want to measure and line up stuff if I dont have to. If the newer fender emblems will stick right into the holes, then it would be alot easier for me.

The trunk GT badge has no pins, so as long as it covers up the holes
and is straght it would work.

I know the trunk emblem will work, thats not the point. Im wanting to know if the fender emblem will go right in place of the factory emblem, so I dont have to measure stuff and get them in the right place. OCD = I will be unsticking them and putting them back on 400000 times.
