I saw these on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7988805507&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:1

i have an '89 5.0. I've read on these forums that springs from newer mustangs will fit mine, as new as 2004 i think. Could there possibly be something different about these particular springs that prevent them from fitting the fox body model? I tried asking the seller but I got no response.

I'm interested in these particular springs because with the springs I have now (in my sig), my mustang seems to sit a little lower in the back. I scrape everywhere. So I want something that is no more than a 1" drop. The front springs are fine, so I only need some rears.

Does anyone know of any other options I might have. I have been looking like crazy with no success. I've also read that the rear C-springs have a similar drop to these Roush springs, but I only need rears.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

have you tried just installing new spring isolators? i did that recently and it brought the rear up about 1/2"...just enough to keep the rears from rubbing...of course that was before i swapped the rear axle during a 5 lug swap

but as far as i know, the springs should fit yours just fine, but then you might run into the same problem of rubbing...

I have the 01 Bullitt Suspension on my 92 GT and it dropped the car between 1/2" and 3/4", the stance is just right and the car handles and rides like a totally different car!

that hadn't come to mind, but now that i think about it i'm sure that i had them replaced when i installed the springs. i'm going to crawl under the car when i get a chance just to make sure.

i think these springs will fit as well, i just wish i could get a definite answer. isn't it true that the '94-'04 mustangs use the same springs as the fox body mustang? cuz i've seen other springs advertised as '79-'04, etc. but i dont' know why these only say '94-'04.

i don't think i'll have a rubbing problem because the drop on these isn't as much. the H&R's i have claim a 1" rear drop, but i swear they dropped the car much more than that. it seemed more like a 1.5-2" drop. maybe the idiots sent me the wrong springs!
