Wiring Harness Help

I am putting a 5.0 from a 91 Thunderbird in a 93 mustang that was originally 2.3. Will the thunderbird wiring harness work with the mustang or do I have to get a specific mustang harness? I'm not fond of wiring, and I'd rather spend a little more money than have to deal with alot of wiring issues. I'm on a budget since I am a 16yo in school who works part time. Thanks!

I've moved over to the [General Talk] section. Way more experts on this body in here.

Funds are tight, I get it. Here's what I would do [today] in this situation:

Buy an aftermarket self-learning ECU and harness from a company like Holley. There are better experts than me that can recommend specific systems.

Here's why:

32 year old harnesses and ECUs. :suicide:

You use what wiring is necessary with factory or factory style sensors.

If you're not into dealing with wiring, I know I don't like wiring issues, then you need to find a wiring harness from a 92-3 V8 mustang, noobz made an excellent suggestion, aftermarket system will provide everything you need and instructions too, I'd do that.
Does the mustang run and drive?

The harnesses changed almost every year in the Mustang. A 1991 Mustang engine harness won't work with a 1993 Mustang because of changes such as connectors being different, and the relocation of the fuel pump relay and a few other misc wires. Would almost guarantee a 1991 tbird harness won't work.

I believe with 1993, you will want a late 1992-1993 Mustang engine harness with the fuel pump relay relocated under the hood. Expect to pay quite a bit for these.

You'll also want to probably change the accessories and intake setup from the T-bird to the 86-93 mustang specific setup. Hate to say you but this swap is going to nickel and dime you.
