Hello stangnet, i have questions about these connects and wires.. i need to know where i can get the diagrams of these connects. Or if someone can write out on which plug which color wire does what i have put numbers on the pictures so please refeer to those when your replay. I have a standalone harness that i alrdy have wired up and I'm swaping my motor into a mustang now. So i want to make the gagues and stuff work. I know number 5 wire is most likely start signal from what i read up i just want to know which ones the others like coolant temp and oil pressure and stuff most likely i will slice the wires individually and not use those connects. I'm attaching this Google drive Link because i can't attach more then 5 pics

There is so little detail in you post that it is impossible to clearly understand it. You have pictures of a bunch of electrical connectors and no mention of what they connect to.

You need to accurately describe:
1.) What year and model of car?
2.) What engine year, type and cubic inch displacement?
3.) Is it carb or EFI.?
4.) What transmission type?

Include the main color & stripe color of wires in question. Do not depend on a photograph to do the job, since the camera and then the device the photo is viewed on can alter the color presentation. Clean the wires with some solvent before trying to identify them. If you used wiring harnesses from different years or cars other that Fox body Mustangs, please pass that information along as well.

Ford Factory wiring diagrams have a wire color to function table in the first few pages. The table is generic and is for all Ford products, not just Mustangs. For that reason, you need to think about what sort of options and equipment are in your car.
For example: If the table says wire color is for a power seat, you are looking at the wrong wire color/item type. Fox body Mustangs didn't come with power seats, so you know that isn't what you want.

Ford changed the color for some wires in 91, so that's why the year model is important.

Also show an extra picture of the mating face side of the connector so that we can see the connector shape and how many pins are in the connector. That helps identify the circuit function since most of the connector shapes are unique to the circuit they serve.

Waiting to see if these directions are actually followed...:pop:
What? Do you really want someone to think and not just throw parts at a problem?

Here's a memorable quote:
Sir Joshua Reynolds' famous quotation: "There is no expedient to which a man will not resort to avoid the real labor of thinking"

Ok i will check it out once I'm home, I'm a truck driver. It's a 1988 coupe original 4 cylinder. The reason i didn't mention where they connect or anything because that's what I'm trying to figure out. Someone cut the rest of the harness. I have a 331 stroker with a microsquirt with a standalone harness on it. So the only thing i want to know on this is if i can figure out where connectors wire do what. Like if 1 connector has the wires for temp sensor so i can wire that to have my gagues. That's my main thing i just want my gagues to work. I wasn't asking someone to just list out what every wire does. I was asking if someone can help with a diagram and on the diagram where those connector's are. Because i don't have another car to look at for which connector goes where. This is my first mustang.

I will clean up the paint and see if i can list out the colors i see and the connectors itself.

Just an FYI....my popcorn had nothing to do with you. There's just been numerous new folks lately that ask for help, they don't answer questions asked of them that's an attempt at help, then turn around and ask the same thing again. :)
