Ok i am back with my issue again of alternator not getting charge to Battery
took alternator off and had it checked at autozone it passes.
Battery passes.....so the first time i just moved the spades in the alternator
over to make good connection to the voltage regulator plug and Bang
volt meter jumped up to normal and battery light went away.
was fine for 2 weeks.............then last friday, i start car up
and battery light just kind of flickered all the way home from work
and slowly the volt meter gauge was going down to 8
about a 30 min drive.............now the battery warning light stays on steady
so i found a wire that went from the solenoid down to a harness
and between the solenoid and the harness..........i noticed black tape there
and the wire was burnt in half......one wire into two wires...is that one of the
fuseable links............so i replaced that connection with an inline fuse
12 ga wire..........30amp fuse..............i am still getting battery warning light
and volt meter is still on 8...........my question is can the voltage regulator plug
be bad like it may not be getting a good connection............how tight should that
connector fit onto the spades on the alternator itself.?
