with the deal with the inside pull handle?

Before I purchased my GT I had looked at 2 others.

Everyone I looked at had the same problem. The drivers side, inside door pull was not attached at the top.
Does anyone have any suggestions that will keep these attached? I went to a salvage yard and grabbed another one. This one has the lip at the top and is in good shape. But still, I can not keep the lip in the door. It is like I am missing something. The clip on the bottom side locks into place nicely, and everything else appears to be good. Is there an inside clip on the door panel that the lip from the handle locks into?
I do not want to take apart my passenger door to see if I am missing something. In fear I will have the same problem before I am done.

its called glue....thats what i did/do.

there a specific glue I should use?

I do not want to have to break it if I ever have to disassemble the door.

mine is the same way, I just live with it.

i was going to suggest f-26, but once you use it, its stuck...

i use 3m black weatherstripping glue. it sticks to just about anything and it can be removed without much of a problem.
