i went to start the stang last night after it rained alot and it wouldnt start, so tonight i go to start it (kinda dry) and eventually it started. Could there be something wrong with one of my wires so when it rains water gets in it? this isnt the first time its done this so any help would be appreciated. thanks

Been there - I cured mine by poping off the dizzy cap and sprayed under it with WD40 - that is actually what it was designed for Water Displacing 40 - it was the 40th attempt by the inventor to perfect it so that is what he named it. You can also run your engine on a dark humid night and look for little lightening bolts jumping between the wires - that will tell you the wires are bad.
