i'm hope someone can help me with this, i just completed a aod to t5 swap and it won't turn over. i'm not sure if i need to by pass the neutral safety switch or if that has anything to do with it. :bang:

What did you hook up at the pedal? Did you hook the plugs up that are hidden under the dash to the clutch pedal or did you leave it alone? Did you use the factory T-5 wiring harness or does it still have the AOD harness?

if you want a quick fix, use the old neutral saftey switch to start your car. run the wires up through the shifter hole, and hold the button down to start it. You wont have reverse light though. I just hacked up the old switch and made all new connections.

grab a t5 harness. It can be had from any 87+ 4 banger or v8 5 speed stang. it plugs into the kicks, wraps around the back of the front seat, then goes through the trans tunnel. It's a $2.99 part at the junkyard, 100% plug and play for the aod swap, and your neutral safety and backup lights will work like your car came from the factory with that t5.
