Worth it?

I can order the KB 2.1L kit myself, install it with a friend with a lot of experience, and use the tune KB ships until I find a local tuner that I trust.

Or I can spend a little more $$, drive up to MPH, and have them install and tune it. I hear their tunes are top notch, and obviously they have a ****load of experience working on the modular 2v (whereas my friend is a chevy guy ).

So my question is, is the trip to Georgia (from Louisiana) worth it? Mustang tuners are scarce around here. A few years ago I was talking with a friend at a local shop about Vortech superchargers and he was talking about how they'd have to fly in a tuner from Dallas or something like that, because the only local guy that tuned Mustangs had quit, and others were blowing up motors. This was in New Orleans, so I don't know if the tuner situation has gotten better or worse since the hurricane and all that.

Saving money is good and all, but I'm willing to spend it if the work MPH does is that good. I hear a lot of people say on these boards that they wouldn't trust their cars to anyone but Tim. Would you drive 500 miles for it?

Also, my Aunt and Uncle live up there in Georgia, so I could play it off as a trip to visit relatives. Not just a random 500 mile drive for some dyno time :P

Honestly you should be just fine with the KB tune
until you get the chance to get to a tuner.
Ask GDawg or Dr. Black they have the KB tune on their
cars and everything is just fine with their cars.
Don't stress about it.KB has a tune with superchagers for a reason.
Go for the KB if you can afford it.
