would a 87-93 hurst short shifter for a t5 work in our cars t5?

i want to get that kit with the chrome hurst handle, white ball knob, short throw shifter and the boot and plate which of course i cant use because its for a fox. but will the shifter itself work with our 94-95 t5 tranny? thanks

do short throw shifters make that big of a difference? this is my first manual car, and i havent driven anyone elses.. is it just a shorter distance to get into gears or what? thx

They make driving more comfortable...so yes
Most of them have like a 20% shorter throw or something, and it's super hard to miss 2-3 shifts with them.
