would i be over paying for these brakes?

on my local cl there is a front disk set up off a 95 cobra, guy wants 250 for it. does this sound about right or would i be over paying?

Is this for the rotors, calipers, and spindles? I guess it wouldn't be too bad if the rotors and calipers have a good amount of life left in them. It cant hurt to make an offer also.

I emailed him asking him what all was included. im waiting to hear back. what all should i try and get in the deal, just the rotors calipers and spindles? also is there any difference between the calipers from 94/95 and the newer 03/04 cobras?

94-98 are 38mm pistons, 99-04 are 40mm pistons

150 tops... you can score sll the parts of a 99+ v6 for that at a jy and they are better than the 94-98 cobra parts.

I'd take a 13" brake setup over a 10.9" brake setup anyday. Larger calipers can only do so much. When i upgraded my '03 GT's front brakes to Cobra specs...the difference was huge

yeah the 13" fronts is what im after. would i really notice a difference with the extra 2mm?

I highly doubt it.


I have the 40mm versions of my car. If anything it would come down to brake pedal feel depending on which MC you run.
