Would it be worth the WORK!! SC'ed 3.8 in fox

On the subject of mileage, my super coupe gets way worse than the stang, even with the h/c/i and 24 pounders(coruse the sc has 36ers and all the blot ons and a coustom exhaust) but stang still gets 21 sc gets 18 and in town is like 10 at best, plus you HAVE to run SUPER in any kind of forced induction, a superc motor will not run on 87, if mileage is a factor buy a bone stock 5.0 gear banger, new plugs o2 sensors and and wires and a kn and call it a day

This isn't about milage really. Just thought it would be different. And with a fox weighing allot less than the Bird, thought it would be fun.


Not sure this will happen, though. He doesn't want mess with all the work right now, and I am starting to agree. Right now the game plane is to sell the bird as a complete parts car..

i thought it would be cool to, then i did the head cam intake on my car and have not though about it since, plus that 3.8 is still a big motor with a beefy block with all the sc crap i bet the weight would be similar to a 5.0 with aluminum heads

Guy over on SVTPerformance.com just posted video of his Super Coupe dynoing. It has an Autorotor 1.7 @ 16 PSI (Kenne Bell), ported heads, cam, big fmic, did 391 rwhp on the stock bottom end.
