would this cut power?

ok i have the mods in my signature. i am gettin a set of 2 chamber with dumps. would the 2.25 inch flow tubes cut power compared to the 2.5 inch? i mean like i dont think it could be much if any. maybe 1hp?

Back when I had my 2000 V6 it was recommended to use a 2.25" exhaust to retain enough backpressure. With a V8 I would think it would cause too much back pressure. If there's one thing I've learned with my car it's do it right the first time....get the 2.5".

go 2.5"... why cut corners now just to have to re-do it later when power levels rise?
