Salem, Or.
It was a strange weekend. :D

Got a call fron Cobra Dave and he saw my 03 Cobra at a show. Its good to know it is in good hands.

Today I picked up a auto trader and found a car I sold 5 years ago has resurfaced. I have talked to the current owner's dad and I will look at it this week.

Would you buy one of your old cars if you had a chance? Or would you let it go and just keep moving on.

Patrick

Depends....

there are a lot of cars I have owned that I wish I never got rid of...but at what cost? If it is reasonable and in decent condition still, might be nice to have it back. If there is doubt, then I say pass it up

I came across the same situation with my old Cobra a few months back. The guy I sold it to had it up for sale on the SVtperformance boards. I seriously considered buying it back from him, but after some thinking decided not too. First of all I didnt know what was done to the car since he bought it, had about 20k miles added, a lot of comestic stuff was added that I did not like. It would not be the same car I sold. Might as well just let it go.

No.

My first car was a Nissan Sentra. 'nough said. And my former stang? The chick who bought it drove it into the ground. And put a pink Roxy sticker on the back window. And put "FEAR THIS" across the top of the windshield (ooo. a V6. I'm shaking in my boots). So no, I don't want my cars back. I want to punch the girl with my stang though. :nonono:

my first truck i got when i was 16 was an 88 4cyl. ranger that would be kinda fun to have back but last i heard it blew a head gasket haha. now my 96 ranger was pretty sweet, big tires, actual lightning exhaust, i wish my brother would have bought it so i could steal it back sometimes

Buy back...tough call. I kick myself sometimes when I think about some of the cars I sold...but I sold them for a reason, and unless MONEY was the only reason you orginally sold it, then perhaps its worth looking into again if you never wanted to sell it in the first place...Bottom line, you have a nice collection of cars Patick, and if you had to sacrafice one to gain another, I dont think I would. The SVO is an awesome car even though I have never seen it, but I love them suckers! If it wasn't for such few parts for them, one would be parked next to the Saleen. Just some random thoughts.....let us know what you decide. :nice:

btw, if you have any pictures of the SVO, can you post them so I can check it out..you probably posted a while back, but I was quite busy to read the forums..sorry bro

Hey Cory! How are you?

I will try and get some pictures for you. I have been working on it a little. I am at a point I need to decide my direction. If I buy this back it will set my plans back to restore the SVO. I don't need another car especially if I need to work on it.

What I really need to do is buy a truck.

Oh well, I will look at it and decide.

Thanks Everyone for your input!

3 cars I wouldnt mind having back.
My old 66 mustang coupe, sold 15 yrs ago for college money.
My 84 gt 350 mustang, wa pretty worn when i got rid of it, but might make a good collector if restored. Dont hardly see any around any more... Go figure.
My white 94 cobra, had to trade in to get my 99.
The other Cars i had were definite KIAs.
Now if i could just go back and buy that 68 gt fastback with the 390 4 speed that my mom refused to let me get when i was 16 :) i had the $2000 saved up from working. It would be worth bank now, if i didnt kill myself in it.
