Yea, this is the fourth time that I have nearly died in the last three years. I got hit by a baseball in the eye- have a metal plate now. I got hit in the head by a baseball bat- scar for life. I got jacked by a insane black guy that I thought was a drug dealer, but it turned out that he had escaped from the hospital. And now this.

Maybe because he was black . CVS Pharmacy is near the hood and I thought some drug dealer was about to kill me to get my car.

Glad your ok, even more glad you didn kill anyone else. Lets hope when your 85 is back your not dumb, and go out and kill yourself or worse someone else.

Also I have been out of Mustangs for a LOT longer than a month. Thats hardly an "excuse" to go fast. Being young and dumb will kill you, so Id say smarten up really fast!

No no. There is no excuse for my careless behavior. I take full responsibilty for this. I thank God that I'm still alive, I guess I'm still here for a reason.

Jeez guys take it ease on the kid. It's not like he was driving drunk doing 120+ or something!! Has anybody on here seen the curve he went through or anything?? Unless you have I don't think you have the right to tell him he's an idiot or stupid or was driving completly wreckless or anything. I'd be willing to bet that a lot of you do close to 90mph at least once a day, and I bet a lot of you have done much much dummer things behind the wheel. Although I will admit that it was not the wisest decision to be driving that fast in someone elses car, even if it was your moms.

actually i rarely get over 60... back roads to school with a curve similar to what he described= 35mph Speed limit usually do aorund 42, on the way to work, get on P'tree ind. BLVD 55 MPH limit, usually do right at 60, then another rd to work =45 mph limit, usually do 46, cops are strict lol and thats my day...

well I have no HWYs per saymy whole commute to school home and work and back is probably less than 10 miles, 2 to school, 2 home, 3 to work, 3 home and that is my day when I work, I have no other tim for anything

Theres a HUGE difference between doing 80 on a highway where traffic is also going 80, and doing 90 into a 35 mph curve in the road. He readily admits it was too fast, and the car was not able to handle it (bald tires).

I HATE when people say we have all done dumb things like this, when how do you know what I did. I personally have never wrecked a car, never curbed a car, never even come close to doing anything like that. I rarely hit 80+ mph and when I do Im on a highway that I know extremely well, and there is noone around. On the 35 mph curves in town, youd be hardpressed to see me going much faster than 40-45.

Hes lucky he didnt get hurt, and lucky to have an udnerstanding parent. Use this as a way to make sure you never do it again for the rest of your life!
