ok i got the summit racing fuel pressure gauge for the fuel rail...and EVERYONE told me to buy this adapter because you will need it...part number 3275 ...
autometer fuel rail adapter for mechanical gauges..the one of end of it woud screw in the line but the other end is a male?! and the gauge itself has a male end!!!! i was assuming the gauge would screw in!??!! why the hell did ppl say to buy this adapter? im confused...

its the fockin 1/16 male to 1/8 female i need isnt it....well i didnt buy that one cause i thought the gauge "screwed in"..plus it says its for electrical gauges?!
this is mechanical...ugh..

Dude,

If you bought the Summit fuel pressure gauge for the shrader valve for like 19.99 right?
All you needed was the NOS adaptor to fit gauge to the shraeder valve, it doesnt matter, electrical or mechanical-i dont think. i did it to mine-Never had a prob! The fitting is like $8.

Good luck-Anthony :flag:

not to complicate things, but take this for what it's worth. I have a BBK Fuel Pressure Guage and I used the Autometer 3280 fitting (P/N: ATM-3280) with a female connector that the guage screws to and then the male end screws into the line. I did call summit's tech line and they told me that's what I needed.

hmm alright ill have to return this....
ya think lowes or somewhere will have the adapter cheaper?

hey i have the gauge cage with 3 eletrcial gauges here and im wondering where to tap into the dimming lighting..i was going to do it at the a/c controls but there is no blue wire with a red tracer? which one is it??? and is it OK and SAFE to tap into the 12v power ACC. source at the radio harness to power all 3 gauges...??

DUDe-Just get it from summit!

Hey latham,

just get the part from summit, Its a hard part to find at a home depot-i have found. Summit-Will refund you and send you the aprt you need-No prob!

Anthony :nice:

Call them up and tell them what happened, they will give you an RMA number, then you box up the stuff and send it back.

That is what happened when they sent me a K&N filtercharger with half of the pieces missing.

They handled the situation pretty quickly, so I have no complaints.

yeah dude, i went everywhere trying to find a freaking adapter...lowes, autozone, napa, couple other auto stores, couple fitting specialty stores, a performance shop and a machine shop...nothing! ATM-3280 is the part number for the adapter...you guys who want the guage part number might find some info by searching www.summitracing.com for "fuel pressure guage." :nice:
