X or H pipe Ques

Hey guys when installing the X or H pipe. i was up underneath the car and there looks to be a pipe coming out of the exhaust where the x or h pipe would go how do you go about getting rid of it??? What do you do. Help me out please

Thats what i think it is i am not sure thats what i was trying to find out.

If it's a smaller tube that runs up to the engine bay .... that's the smog tube. The smog pump uses it to pump air to your cats. If you do not have to worry about emissions in your area .... you can just remove it & weld the hole in your X or H pipe shut. Are you going to be removing the smog stuff? If so ... this is one of the steps you can get out of the way.

yeah i shall be removing it we don't have emissions here i love it
