I'd like to get an X-pipe that fits/tucks in nicely. Ease of installation would probably be the multi-peice kits. So many brands out there! Which one are you running? I'm more interested in trying out the Pypes & UPR X-pipes.

Typically with long tubes you match the midpipe with the headers...so I'd be willing to bet he's running a Kook's midpipe.
But it sounds like StreetFighter50 is looking for a traditional midpipe (for OEM exhaust manifolds or shorties)...that being said I'll chime in with my experiences...
Currently I'm running a catted Magnaflow X. I didn't install it so I can't give you any info on ease of installation, but I can tell you it does tuck pretty well. It's (the cats) still the first thing to hit on those nasty 'too tall' speed bumps. But that's a rare occasion.
On my 02 GT I had an MRT catted H - great pipe, great tone, but the cats were too close to my subframe connectors (driver's side) and would occasionally bang into it. And the whole pipe hung too low and was friggin expensive to boot!
After that we had a Pypes O/R X and a UPR O/R X - but I honestly can't remember which one was on which car. They were very similar - both were easy to install, allowed a lot of adjust-ability, and tucked up very well. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

i have bbk el shorties and O/R X-pipe. I love the setup. scraped a few times on some bumpy terrain but the sound is addicting and turns heads.

Had bassani 5 piece on my 01 GT and now on the Mach. Love it and among other things you can swap in teh catted legs should you need to, though I believe you have to get them separately.

i got the Pypes X-pipe w/o cats.. very happy with it multi pieced and i live around the factory so i felt the need to support my local economy. i got BBK shorties and a MAC catback, ive gotten so many complements from random people its nuttzz.. another nice thing about the Pypes system is that its stainless and is pretty cheap when compared around
