went up to the machine shop (2hours away) and we sat down and talked. after telling me i need to upgrade my pistons and do a few ARP bolts here and there, i decided to step up and do the big bore. im going to upgrade to longtubes also

it'll be a 363

dart block - "0" balanced
AFR185 heads
jay allen cam
TFS-R Intake
novi2000 @ 15psi

should be all set within a month. i can't wait!

already had ARP head studs basically the cam bolt, the rocker studs, and i think the balancer bolt are going to be ARP.

dave, i hate welding. was your "blending" of the welds like perfect, or did you just throw some all metal on there?

After the grinding everything was pretty much flush. I had a couple pinholes in some that the filler took care of, but nothing remotely major at all.
