My buddy just bought a 93 lx hatch 5 spd. and he was wondering how much hp to expect out of it when he throws it on the dyno and gets it tuned.. I was figuring around 275-290 to the wheels but I think I may be a little high on my est. so I was wantin to get your guys input.

116k miles on car ~16k on motor and tranny,

Mods:

Rebuilt 302
Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads
Edelbrock RPM II Intake
Ford F303 Cam
1.6 Roller Rockers
70mm Throttle Body
75mm MAF
24lb Injectors
190 LPH Fuel Pump
BBK cold air intake

3.73 Gears

All joking aside, my estimate would be about the same as yours. The best advise I could give about HP estimates is estimate LOW or don't do it at all.

That way when you do throw it up on the dyno, you don't end up disappointed.
