Help with major problem with engine rebuild
Hey ya'll I am finally almsot done with putting my engine back together after changing out the head gaskets and putting in new headers. Well i have 2 problems now. #1 one of my fuel injectors has had the bottom red cap on it break off, is this going to be a problem adn do I need a new injector becuase none of the auto parts places around me carried either the cap or single injector. Problem #2 is that I cannot get the EGR valve to line back up on the Upper Intake manifold, no matter waht i do, it is at least an inch off. I put new MAC unegual length headers on my car. Is there a special adaptor I need now, or can I just remove the EGR completely. I dont think I have to worry about emissions this summer because of all the problems that Connecticut is having with the new system. If I do remove the EGR, what do I cap the holes with, and what do I do with the electrical connectors. Thanks for any help you can give me
