You Texas Boys And Now Florida!

Do you ever scream at kids to get off your lawn; even if there's no-one there? o_O
I do that all the time
An I'm not old, well too old
Ahhh, not too old

So worked all day and no one at work did a damn thing except try and find supplies online and freak out over this
Tried to get water, propane, batteries, bread etc from numerous stores before work, at lunch and after work- Walmart, Publix, Home Depot etc,.. All sold out within 50 miles . ******* people buying up things they dont need and then saying- well I'll just bring it back if I dont use it... Way to think about other people....
Gas is sold out or 2 hour lines that I waited to fill up my cars and two 5 gallon cans
Almost got into 2 fights due to ******* cutting me off in line. I literally got out of my car and went over to them and told them they either need to run me over or get the F out of the car.
Saw 3 accidents in 30 minutes due to people driving like idiots
I live about 60 miles north of Miami- they are evacuating Monroe County and possiblly Dade County tomorrow
All schools in Monroe,Dade, Broward Palm Beach and MArtin Counties closing

anyone East of Federal Highway on the east coast of Florida GET THE HELL OUT if you can.

Let's hope a miracle happens and Irma turns away the last minute.. doesnt look good though.

This veteran storm chaser is panicking

When I lived on Guam and a typhoon was coming we would just fill up containers with water from the faucet. I don't really get the mad water dash.

The other stuff I kind of understand though.

I also had a case or two of MRE's for emergency food.

A little late for the MRE's I guess now.

I sure hope things go well for you guys.

I've got water, a generator, 55gallons of fuel (stations still have gas around here), plenty of canned food. Going to try and ride it out at my M.I.L. place her home is block... I'm worried my place is going to blow away..:(

CBS homes seemed to fare better than frame homes through Andrew. The roof shape, material and how it attaches are the most crucial aspects.

Looks like it's shifting to the right, but still right at Miami.

Places are crazy around here, Home Depot is packed, Costco is sold out. Lines for gas.

Not super worried about it, most of my employees went home to be with their families.
