Did I fry my voltage regulator?

If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I was installing a new JME gauge cluster with autometer gauges last night and one of the leads to the old ammeter (which is not used in the new set-up) sparked against the steering column. From that point on my headlights didn't work. Everything else works fine, however, even the front parking lights.... no fuses are blown under the dash either..... and everything is stock...

Could I have fried my voltage regulator????

Thanks,

I believe the headlight switch is a circuit breaker itself. You probably need to change it out. If the gauges continue to function, the voltage regulator is still working.

Thanks. I was thinkin about it for a few hours and I was coming to the same conclusion - that it probably shorted the headlight swithc. Luckily I have an old one that is in working condition. I will swap it out today and see if that works....
