Just got my BBK shorties, and MAC catback bolted on. The car sounds SO much better. I was happy with the MAC's on my V6, so I knew they'd sound good on the 5.0.
Funny thing is the old catback was making a rattling sound on the passenger side. Since it was just Flowmasters with the stock 2.25 pipes, and Ford hangers welded on, I thought one of the hangers brokes free and was rattling.
When I got under the car the hangers were still on fine. But when I cut the catback in half, and removed it I noticed the mufflers were rattling. In both mufflers, the baffling(or fins in the Flowmasters) broke loose and is rattling around inside.
Now, I don't know how old the mufflers are since they were on the car when I bought it; but I didn't like Flowmasters before I bought the car, and now I definately don't like them.

That doesn't sound right.
. Once I get under the car this spring I will judge wheather or not to replace it since it looked pretty rusty last time I was under there. It'll be a Magnaflow system next time
