What does your rear suspension consist of? Traction bars? Shocks? I'll bet 1.5x 60 footers are fun!

You may have seen this car at WFC, we typically park under the Budweiser sign right at the entrance to the pits from the return road except the past couple years it's had a big cowl hood.

As for the battery............that spot between the bars is for the folding chairs and cooler. I'm old, tired and thirsty and need my creature comforts!!!

Suspension is old school. Slapper bars....leafs...and believe it or not.....Monroe coil helper RV shocks!!!!

Nice!! I like old school...It's also cool to see parts like coil helper RV shocks on a 10 second car.

Hard to see here, but the '68 has homemade slapper bars (actually, chassis shop made slapper bars) that are longer with an adjustable bolt at the front, they hit on the torque boxes. Driving the car normally, the damn things sound like a munchkin with a hammer under the car, but at WOT with open headers, you can't hear them.
