BLEED OR NOT?

I bought a pair of stainless steel braided hoses(front) and i was wondering if i need to bleed the rear brake or just the front?

Bleed all four brakes. The fluid is only good for 20-30k miles. Completely bleed the system. Installing speed bleeders will make it much easier.

+1, might as well do it while your doing the other brake stuff, it will make a difference in performance and pedal feel.

+1 on bleeding all 4. Also I just did this 2 months ago, driver and passenger side hoses are side-specific, one fitting (i believe the passenger) side is larger where it mates to the hard line. Make sure you check before you open the fittings so you don't lose too much fluid, or let air in. At least on my '03 it was.

Bleed all 4 as stated. Always better to be safe than sorry especially with things like brakes.

So i changed my brake lines,NOW THE TROUBLE!!!

i bled the four calipers(a lot of times),there is no more air coming from calipers but my pedal goes to the floor,i'm sure there is some air trap in the system.Is there another bleeder any where else??? i can feel the pressure on the disc but i'm able to turn it,it's hard but i can.

Is it just a patience game? do i need to bled again and again and again?
i never had so much trouble to bled brakes!

Any suggestions???

I bet its' your master cylinder. I changed my entire brake system, and I went through the same problem. I found out my MC had air in it, and caused the pedal to be verrrrrry squishy. Bleed yer MC and come back, if it's not fixed.. we can do some more trouble shooting.

yup you might have air in the MC bleed that and make sure you keep the resivuor full of brake fluid

You were right guy's that was my MC...full of air!

Now everything is OK
