LT Headers & Full length H pipe HACK job

Yes, I screwed up and bought a MAC offroad prochamber last year and now I want LT's. And what really sucks is that the pipe is welded in place so it's going to take some customization.

How difficult is it going to be to make this work? You know, the prochamber basically has a box on it that serves as the balance pipe. I'm assuming the LT's won't come down that far?

Any advice is appreciated. I just want to find out if the prochamber is still going to function correctly. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but that's better than realizing it won't work right in the middle of the job.

I thought MAC made LT's that fit up against the Pro Chamber mid pipes.

You are looking at a fairly major job with this. I would sell the one you have a get another for the long tubes.

My prochamber is welded to the catback so selling it probably isn't an option. It looks exactly the same as the short prochamber minus the longer pipes, I just figured a good exhaust guy could make it work.

You should be able to cut it to length and uses reduction flanges or whatever to get the fit right.

I installed it and it leaked so I took it to an exhaust shop and they tried reinstalling but it still leaked so I just told them to weld it, I know bad move.

So does the h pipe fit inside the header tubes?

No....over. You always want the upstream pipe to fit inside the downstream pipe for best flow.
Depending on the size of the collector, you may be able to expand the h-pipe enough to slide it over the collector. You can get pipe expanders online. I don't what they cost. I borrowed a friend's when I needed one.
Or you could take the pipe to an exhaust shop to open it up. Just make sure you leave enough pipe on it when you cut it.
