Hey guys, well i've decided to bite the bullet and do my engine. I've modifyed almost everything else on my car so i have nothing else to do. I drop off my engine on Monday and it will be bored to a 306 w/ forged internals, polished crank, new pistons, connecting rods, Cooked and painted block, new frost plugs, and pretty much everything else. As for the top end.... well heres the list, and i'm also doing rearend, and tranny and other little stuff. I'll be posting up pics when i get the block back and as i start the build up. Right now i just have some of the tear down pics. Hope you enjoy! I never thought tearing down a engine and tranny would be so much fun, besides the some of the bolts that are a bitch, its actually really fun!

The automotive shop thats doing my engine estimated around 350 hp. That about right you think?
He says it'll be about 3 weeks and my bottom end will be down. That gives me time to get everything else painted and together.
After its the engine is put back together its getting dyno tuned, then when its in the car i'm bringing it back to dyno it to get the rwhp #'s! Can't wait!
The comp cam i'm putting in is made for a supercharged application, and yes your thinking yours isn't supercharged? But coming this winter there will be a Kenne 2.2 Flowzilla on top of the beatiful engine! So thats why i'm doing everything right the first time. Forged internals and everthing!
Few Q's
What therm stat should i put in it? My car runs about 160. Should i put in a 160 or a 180?
My stock engine mounts are shot, and with all the extra horse i dont want replacement stock rubber ones cause i'll rip them apart. Any suggestions?
Any suggestions what i should do about the stock computer? What to upgrade it to?
I'll snap some photos of when the engines done, and getting dynoed tuned, and when its on the dyno, and the rebuild and everything else. Not sure if your interested or not but oh well ha.
